  3. I learned that college living is really expensive and that the best way to pay for things will be lots of scholarships and working. I plan to apply to as many scholarships as i can and get as much family help as possible.

  12. I realized that everything these days are extremely expensive and i rather live at my parents house so a lot of those costs are minimized. If i stay local i would save a lot of money as well as having college tried to be paid for by scholarships,

  13. Originally I was going to attend Nova University, I knew it was expensive, what college/university isn't? After applying and getting accepted they sent me my financial aid information and told me how much the university was going to give me a year. I ended up getting 19,000 dollars a year, I was elated, however, Nova's tuition alone is approximately 22,000 dollars a year. I thought to myself, well, I would be paying about 3,000 out of pocket, per semester, that's not so bad. However, the tuition did not include dorms or even a meal plan. The dorms including the meal plan would equal about 31,000 dollars a year so, I would really end up paying 12,000 dollars a year out of pocket. After yesterdays activity I realized college was way more expensive then I initially thought because originally I hadn't considered those other expenditures; I would be broke and and have to take out loans probably. So, in the end my family decided I should start off at BC then transfer to Nova. Now, I have a better understanding of college finances and I have a better appreciation for the money I have now.

  15. i realized that college life and living on your own is very expensive and costly as it costs an arm and a leg. With that said i would have to rely on loans and getting a job to support my needs.
